Dealing with the idea of human error, this series is an ongoing catalog of gloves and mittens mistakenly dropped in public during winter. What began as a mere curiosity when I moved to the upper midwest has developed into a daily routine. I often stop the car, pull over on my bike, or pause during walks to photograph every last one I see. When I find a glove, I feel a small connection to the absent person.
